Arbitrum, a second layer development that seeks to improve scalability and reduce commissions in Ethereum, is already activated on the main network. The launch was in the beta phase (testing stage) and only for developers who request access.

The Ethereum team was able to announce a successful update of its blockchain. The Berlin hard fork is now live.

Data protocol The Graph launched on the Ethereum mainnet on Dec. 17, completing a three year development cycle and a busy 2020 that included launching a testnet, establishing governing bodies and running a token sale.
