Solana Global Hackathon competition will reward the best projects that use the blockchain Solana in action with BRZ in Brazil an additional US$25 thousand will be distributed.

The Solana Foundation will provide up to US$1 million for the best projects in the Solana Season hackathon. The developer event will be held from May 15 to June 7 and registration is now open.

Hackathons are events that bring together software developers, designers and other professionals related to the programming area, in order to create innovative solutions to a specific problem in a short period of time.

In a parallel action in partnership with BRZ, a Brazilian stablecoin, the foundation will distribute an additional prize of US$ 25 thousand in Brazil for the best projects. The winners will also be able to count on additional funding resources (seed funding).

The online event will feature DeFi, Web3, and NFT tracks, and each will feature first, second, and third-place prizes of US$20,000, US$10,000, and US$5,000 in USDC-SPL, respectively.

Individual projects will also have the chance to compete for additional prizes with support from MultiCoin Capital, DSRV, Nonce, Raydium, and Serum, and a great champion will be chosen who will win $ 30,000 in USDC-SPL.

Projects will be evaluated by experts in their areas of expertise without regard to legal feasibility. Participants must create software exclusively for evaluation purposes. After the dispute is over, interested parties will be able to compete for financing for the projects.
